Eight matches were played in the Dorset Premier League on Saturday, with goals flowing across the division.

Bournemouth Electric moved top of the table on goal difference after an emphatic 5-0 win at Holt United, while Dorchester Sports remain the division's only side with a perfect record.

Electric produced one of the day's standout performances at Petersham Lane, taming the Bulls with a comprehensive victory.

Jo Flachi, Abraham Adesoji, and Dragos Neague were all on target, while Jamie Morgan struck twice for the visitors.

Dorchester Sports are now the only team with a 100 per cent winning record after coming from behind to beat Mere Town at the Avenue.

Rhys Mendham gave Mere an early advantage, but Sports took control after the break as Reuben Moggeridge scored twice, with Brin Doyle and Elliott Brow also finding the net.

Balti Sports registered their first win of the season in style, beating Wareham Rangers 6-1 at the College.

Taylor Brown hit a hat-trick, with Charlie Pitt, Callum Stanton, and Louis Gera completing the scoring.

Swanage Town & Herston impressed on the road with a 5-1 win over Hamworthy United at the County Ground.

Verwood Town returned from Portland United Reserves with all three points after a 2-0 win.

Brandon McKinley and David Kent both scored in the second half to seal the result.
