Dixon and Vickers regain Golden Pairs title and town trio are County champions

In doing so, they extended Oakley's proud record of having lifted a County title every year since 2017.

There was also success for Basingstoke Town.

This season's most successful local team in County competitions, a County title had so far eluded them, but Zach Miller, Matthew Rixson and Derek Banks came through two very close matches, winning 16-15 against Milton Park and 15-14 against New Milton, to lift the Two Bowl Triples title.

Fortune did not, however, favour Town's Anita Christian and Martin Cullis.

Their long run in the national Mixed Pairs came to an end, one match away from the national championships, as they were beaten 23-10 by Sussex's former national indoor singles champion, David Hubbard, and partner.

Week 15 of the Whitchurch Mixed League saw no change at the top of Division 1 where Basingstoke Spades are hot favourites for the title.

In Division 2, leaders Littleton Leopards lost 4-3 to Whitchurch Yellows, who took over at the top.

Leopards' promotion hopes were hit further as Alton Social, with a 7-0 win, moved within four points and have three matches in hand.

In Division 3, with Howard Park Kestrels not playing, Andover Stags moved top, but four teams are still in contention for promotion.

In Division 4, Oakley Kites are a massive 14 points clear and the main interest is whether Basingstoke Hearts or Littleton Lions will join them in Division 3.

As the Basingstoke and District Triples League reaches its conclusion, Oakley 'A' vs Kingsclere 'A' will determine who will be the Premier League champion.

After three successive years where they finished runners-up, a 4-3 victory for Oakley 'A' should give them the title.

Burghfield are guaranteed promotion from Division 1 although St Mary Bourne Kestrels have an outside chance of lifting the title.

Howard Park 'B' remain top of Division 2.

In the Basingstoke and District Men's League, Basingstoke Town's two teams top the table but with both losing and Alton Social 'A' defeating Town 'A', the title race has been thrown wide open.

The outcome will depend on the results of the two outstanding games between Town 'B' and Social 'A'.

Already relegated are Whitchurch 'A'.

Promotion from Division 2 is between Oakley 'B', Alton and Alton Social 'B' with much depending on the result of the game still to be played between the latter two.
