Liverpool have reached an agreement with Barcelona to sign Uruguayan international Ronald Araújo on a season-long loan, in one of the biggest surprise moves of the summer transfer window.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on Friday that both clubs had reached a verbal agreement, with Barcelona sporting director Deco giving the green light for the move. The deal is now entering the final documentation stage ahead of the defender's arrival at Anfield.
