South Africa's representatives in the CAF Confederation Cup have officially discovered their path to the group stage following Thursday's preliminary round draw in Cairo, Egypt.
Amakhosi secured a return to continental football after finishing third in the Betway Premiership last term.
Who Amakhosi will face
According to the draw, the Soweto giants will face the winner of the first preliminary round tie between Zambia's Red Arrows and FC Rouge of Equatorial Guinea. The men in Gold and Black will bypass the first round after being handed a direct bye by CAF.

They will kick off their continental campaign in the second preliminary round, with the first leg scheduled between 16-18 October and the return leg hosted on South African soil the following weekend.
A golden opportunity
This second successive appearance provides the Glamour Boys with an opportunity to build on their previous continental campaign. Last season, they impressively navigated the qualifiers to reach the group stage before missing out on the knockout rounds.
To bolster the squad for the demanding local and continental schedules, management has been active in the transfer market. New faces like Langelihle Phili and Renaldo Leaner have been brought in to add crucial quality and depth.
Conversely, the squad has parted ways with several players, with Ashley Du Preez, Glody Lilepo, and Given Msimango among those exiting Naturena.
Durban City's possible opponents
Meanwhile, fellow South African representatives Durban City will also feature after qualifying as Nedbank Cup champions. They have drawn Burundi's Rukinzo FC in the first preliminary round, with the first-leg scheduled for 4-6 September.

Before diving into African club competition, the two sides must first shift their immediate attention back to domestic knockout football.
