Imray has joined Wrexham after impressing at The Hawthorns last season.
Former West Brom loanee Danny Imray has completed a permanent move to Championship rivals Wrexham.
The 23-year-old had been a target for Albion after impressing during his loan spell at The Hawthorns from Crystal Palace in the second half of last season.
However, the right-back has now joined ambitious second-tier side Wrexham on a four-year deal. The move comes after West Brom strengthened their options on the right side of defence by signing Nolan Galves from French second-tier club Rodez earlier this week.
Speaking after completing his move, Imray said: "First and foremost, I think where this club is going, it's definitely on an upward trajectory.
"It's just everything about the club really - everything behind the scenes. I've watched Welcome to Wrexham and it's not just a football club that wants to do well on the pitch, but one that wants to do well off the pitch too.
"The community means a lot to the club, and I think that's such a good way to be because without the fans, the clubs are nothing.
"There were loads of things that enticed me to come here, but the club want to be in the Premier League and after speaking to the gaffer it's just such an exciting project to be a part of."
Imray joined West Brom in January after beginning the season on loan at League One side Blackpool.
The defender went on to make 17 appearances in all competitions for the Baggies, including featuring in their 2-2 draw with Wrexham at The Hawthorns in April.
Before moving to West Brom, Imray gained valuable first-team experience away from Crystal Palace, where he never made a senior appearance.
After joining Palace from Chelmsford City in 2021, he was immediately loaned back to his former club before later enjoying a successful spell with Bromley, making 43 appearances and scoring two goals during the 2024/25 season.
