Tom Holland has revealed what "one of the worst decisions" he's ever made was.

The actor was appearing in the second part of The Dish podcast, hosted by Nick Grimshaw and Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett.

Made in combination with Waitrose and Cold Glass Productions, The Dish brings together "world-class food with candid, unfiltered conversations featuring some of the biggest names in film, television, music and culture".

Holland was speaking with Grimshaw and Hartnett ahead of the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, while the 30-year-old also recently appeared in The Odyssey.

As part of the discussion, Holland discussed "one of the worst decisions" he's ever made.

The conversation turned to football, with Holland revealing why he chose to support Tottenham Hotspur, a decision he now regrets.

Despite rivals Arsenal reaching the Champions League final last season, he also shared that he did support them over Paris Saint-Germain.

He told Nick and Angela: "I tell you what, I will say, I watched- the Champions League final.

"I watched it- with my brother, and I'll get crucified for saying this- as a Tottenham fan, but I supported Arsenal."

"I sat with- my brother- 'cause you know, my brother loves that team.

"I have two brothers that support Arsenal. I was always more into rugby.

"I played rugby as a kid, and I just always used to follow more of the rugby.

"But when I started working on film sets, it's all anyone talks about on a Monday morning is the football over the weekend.

"So, I kind of got a bit tired of being left out."

Holland also shared why there was a split in his family over who they supported.

He said: "But the reason that there is a divide is my brother Harry was the first person to pick a club- to support.

"And at the time, I think it was, you know, Chelsea, Arsenal, and United were like the three biggest teams- and he didn't feel like he could support one of those teams because- didn't want to be a glory hunter- you know.

"And then when my brother Sam decided to pick a team, he said to Harry, I'll support Tottenham with you.

"And I think Harry had been so battered by being a Tottenham fan -- because of how difficult it is, he was like, "Don't do it." "Pick another club."

"So, he picked Arsenal, and then Paddy followed suit with Sam.

"So, when I decided to get into football, I couldn't leave Harry on his own, so I picked Tottenham.

"And it's probably one of the worst decisions I've ever made."

Tottenham did end their 17-year trophy drought back in 2025 after winning the Europa League, but also narrowly avoided being relegated from the Premier League in the 2025/26 season.
