Trophies handed out for Dorchester Snooker League 2025/2026 season

The Switched On Renewables Dorchester Snooker League recently held its Annual General Meeting at the Colliton Club, Dorchester.

Trophies for the 2025-2026 snooker season were awarded by Ross Moores from the league's sponsors.

The winners and runners-up are as follows:

In the Premier League, West Dorset Club A topped the table, with Trinity M as runners-up.

Trinity M triumphed in both the Team Open Cup and Team Handicap Cup, with runners-up going to W.D.C. Yoyos and West Dorset Club A, respectively.

The Individual Open Trophy was won by Evan Wellman of West Dorset Club A, with James Fowler of W.D.C. Bandits as runner-up.

The Individual Handicap Trophy was awarded to Stuart Allen of W.D.C. Bandits, with Mick Remnant of W.D.C. Tridents in second place.

Mark Caples and Nick Joslin of Trinity Express and Trinity M won the Open Pairs Trophy, and Rick Aylott-Healey and Ash Ball of Trinity Cannon Fodder secured the Handicap Pairs Trophy.

Evan Wellman made the top break, scoring 82.

W.D.C. Tridents emerged victorious in the 6 Reds Competition, with W.D.C Break & Birdies coming runners-up.

Andy Page of W.D.C Yoyos won the 6 Reds Top Break with 55.

The new snooker season is due to start on Monday, September 7, with 10 teams participating.
